The Enduro champions meet in Genoa | 4.12.2009

The Palasport in Genoa is ready and waiting to hold the second of the four events in this action-packed world of Indoor Enduro. The event which will be held on Saturday 5th December 2009 will be the sixth and it is the third time as a scoring event for the World Cup.

The track, designed by Armando Dazzi, will be the scene of the fight between the two leaders of the current classification, which is headed by the ex-trial rider Taddy Blazusiak (KTM Enduro Factory), clear winner of the first event of the 09/10 edition held in Sheffield last October.

Iván Cervantes (KTM Enduro Factory), current champion of this spectacular speciality, who provisionally holds 4th position, will be trying to beat the Polish rider, as will other outstanding riders like Graham Jarvis (Sherco), who was on the podium in England, and Antoine Meo (Husqvarna CH Racing), winner of the Italian edition.

The quality of the riders who are taking part in this event is indisputable, and the World Cup has only just begun. To be taken into account will also be the performances of Mika Ahola (HM-Honda Jolly Racing), World champion of E1, or Douggie Lampkin (Beta Motor), many-time trial world champion, both of whom have strong possibilities of winning in Genoa.

But the rising stars of the Enduro, like the Italian Fabio Mossini (HM-Honda Jolly Racing), who came third in the general classification last year, or the exciting Junior Word Champion, Oriol Mena (Husaberg Factory Team), also have their eyes on the podium.

The traditional race format in the FIM Indoor Enduro will offer three extraordinarily exciting finals, letting the Italian public enjoy the best of the Enduro under a covered arena.

Unfortunately, due to a last minute injury, the French rider Christophe Nambotin (Gas Gas Enduro Racing Team), will not be able to participate.
