Barcelona, home of the Indoor Enduro | 28.1.2010

The Palau Sant Jordi will host the fourth and final event of the FIM Indoor Enduro World Cup this next 31st January.  Blazuziak already has the title in his hands, but the best riders in the world in the category will compete for a win in Barcelona, the most emblematic venue in the World Cup.

The course designed for the Palau Sant Jordi will be the scene for the last battle in the season in which the best Indoor Enduro riders in the world will fight on 31st January. Taddy Blazusiak (KTM Enduro Factory) was declared Indoor Enduro World Cup Champion last 9th January in Vigo, the penultimate World Cup event, at the expense of competing for the title in the International Indoor Enduro in Barcelona.

But competitiveness has not diminished one iota. Everyone wants to win in Sant Jordi, home of the Indoor Enduro and the most emblematic venue, and in addition to his general classification, where every rider wants to be crowned,
Nobody wants to miss out on the Barcelona International Indoor Enduro.

For this reason the event has the most complete list of the best riders in the world in this category. Blazusiak, Iván Cervantes (KTM), Mika Ahola (HM-Honda Jolly Racing), Joakim Ljunggren (Husaberg), Graham Jarvis (Sherco), Fabio Mossini (Honda), Christophe Nambotin (Gas-Gas), Oriol Mena (Husaberg), Dani Gibert, Dougie Lampkin (Beta Motor), and David Knight (KTM), who has won three times in the Barcelona International Indoor Enduro, and who reappears following his signing with KTM.

The champion is already decided, but there is much still at stake.  Quite apart from the intangibles from winning in Barcelona, the riders want to win the best possible classification. Cervantes, for example, with 87 points wants to consolidate his position as runner-up in the World Cup, and for this reason has been working hard with his team in Castellón. Meanwhile, Ljunggren, in third place in the general classification with 74 points will be fighting to the last moment to win the runner-up position. But Jarvis in fourth position cannot be forgotten, nor the great revelation of the season, Gibert, in fifth.

The traditional format of the races in the FIM World Cup Indoor Enduro will offer three exciting finals, allowing the Barcelona public to enjoy the best of Enduro in a closed space. In addition, the Palau Sant Jordi will also host the second event in the SPEA FIM Indoor Trial World Cup, in what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of off road in which the best of Trial and Indoor Enduro of today will unite.
